We also hire out spare battery packs for all of our hire walkie-talkie radios.

Each hired radio already comes with one battery pack (or else it wouldn't work!), but sometimes customers hire extra ones so that they can keep the radios in constant use by swapping a discharged battery for another charged one, which can then be put on a charger to recharge.

Hire prices: 

£1.50 + VAT for up to one week 
£2.00 + VAT for up to two weeks

Leather Cases With Neck Straps

We hire out leather carry cases for our walkie-talkies complete with neck straps. These enable the walkie-talkie in the case to be "worn" around the user's neck so it hangs down in front of their body.

These are especially useful for people wearing dresses, who don't have a belt to attach the radio to using the belt clip. They also give the radio some protection against weather and impact damage.

Vehicle Magnetic Mount Radio Aerials

If hired walkie-talkie radios are to be used from within a car, the car's metal body has a blocking effect on the radio signal.

These small magnetically attached aerials screw onto the top of the walkie-talkie (after first unscrewing the standard aerial).

The cable can then be run through the car window to the magnetic aerial which will stick to the car's metal roof or other bodywork.
